These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Swiss Private Tour (the "Service") operated by Turi Travel (sole proprietorship of Artur Piotrowski, hereinafter "we", "us", or "our"). By making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

We provide private chauffeured day tours primarily within Switzerland. A professional driver takes you on a personalised route in a dedicated private vehicle.

  • Tour duration: 8–9 hours per day
  • Passengers: 1–6 guests (7 seats including the driver)
  • Coverage: All of Switzerland (France, Italy, and Austria available at a separate quote)
  • Pick-up locations: Zurich, Bern, Lucerne
  • Pick-up from Geneva is not available

3. Pricing

Prices may be adjusted without prior notice due to changes in fuel costs, insurance, or service expenses. The price confirmed at the time of booking will apply.

5. What's Not Included

  • Attraction entry fees
  • Cable car & mountain railway tickets
  • Meals
  • Accommodation (for multi-day tours)
  • Your personal travel insurance

6. Booking & Payment

Bookings are made via the contact form or by email.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • WISE — international bank transfer (advance payment)
  • Cash (CHF) — payment on the day of the tour

Payment timing and details will be confirmed when you book.

7. Cancellation Policy

We do not cancel tours due to bad weather. Instead, we reroute to wherever conditions are best. There is no additional charge for route changes.

8. Tour Changes & Cancellation by Us

  • Route changes requested by you on the day can be accommodated where possible.
  • We may change the route for safety reasons at our discretion.
  • If a tour cannot take place due to natural disaster, road closure, or other force majeure, we will cancel the tour and issue a full refund.

9. Insurance

We carry ALLIANZ TRAVEL SWITZERLAND full comprehensive insurance. The vehicle and all passengers are covered.

We strongly recommend that you take out your own travel insurance. Our policy covers vehicle-related incidents and does not comprehensively cover illness, injury, or loss of personal belongings.

10. Safety & Vehicle

  • Turi holds a professional driving licence and has over 27 years of mountain driving experience.
  • The vehicle is regularly serviced, with seasonal tyre changes (winter/summer) and snow chains available when needed.
  • If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend bringing medication.

11. Meals

  • Meals are not included in the tour price.
  • Complimentary drinks and snacks are available in the vehicle.
  • If you have food allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will prioritise suitable restaurants. However, the final decision and responsibility regarding food choices rests with you.
  • Guests who book 4 or more days are invited to a farewell dinner on the final evening, hosted by Turi & Helen.

12. Gratuities

Tips are entirely optional and never expected.

13. Children & Elderly Guests

  • Child seats are available on request (please let us know in advance).
  • Both Helen and Turi are trained in elderly care and will ensure senior guests travel comfortably.
  • If you use a wheelchair, please contact us in advance. We may be able to arrange a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (additional charges may apply).

14. Language

  • Pre-tour communication is handled by email in English.
  • Tour guidance on the day is provided in English.
  • The vehicle is equipped with professional translation devices (Vasco E1 & V4) supporting dozens of languages in real time.

15. Photos & Video

We may use photos and videos taken during the tour on our website and social media. We will always ask for your consent before publishing. If you prefer not to be featured, please let us know.

16. Guest Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings.
  • You are responsible for your own safety while visiting attractions and during free time.
  • Moderate alcohol consumption during the tour is permitted, but excessive drinking in the vehicle is not.
  • Participation in high-altitude routes (e.g. Jungfraujoch) is at your own risk regarding altitude sickness.

17. Limitation of Liability

  • We do our best to follow planned routes, but do not guarantee arrival at any specific destination due to weather, traffic, or road closures.
  • We are not liable for illness, injury, or worsening of pre-existing medical conditions.
  • We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of your personal belongings.
  • We are not liable for issues arising from third-party services (cable cars, restaurants, accommodation, etc.).

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss federal law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our place of business in Switzerland.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time in response to changes in legislation or our services. The revised Terms take effect as soon as they are published on this page. For guests who have already booked, the Terms in effect at the time of booking will apply.
