Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before booking.
Q. How do I book a tour?
Send us a message through the
contact form with your preferred dates, group size, and any interests. We'll reply within 24 hours with a suggested itinerary and next steps.
Q. Are there any costs beyond the 700 CHF?
The 700 CHF covers your driver, vehicle, unlimited mileage, hotel pick-up, and in-car refreshments. You pay separately for: attraction entry fees, cable car / mountain railway tickets, meals, and accommodation (for multi-day tours). There are no hidden guide fees. Tours crossing into Italy, France, or Austria require a separate quote.
Q. Where can you pick me up?
We pick up from hotels in Zurich, Bern, and Lucerne at no extra charge. Pick-up from other Swiss cities or locations (e.g. Geneva, Basel, Interlaken) can be arranged — just let us know when you enquire.
Q. Can I book for just 1 person?
Yes. Tours run from 1 to 6 guests at the same flat rate of 700 CHF per day. Whether you're travelling solo or as a group of six, the price doesn't change.
Q. What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 2 weeks before your tour date. Within 2 weeks, a 20% cancellation fee applies. If the weather is bad on the day, we don't cancel — we reroute to wherever the skies are clearest.
Q. How do I pay?
We accept
WISE (international bank transfer) or cash in CHF on the day. WISE is used by over 16 million people worldwide and typically costs less than a traditional bank transfer. Payment details and timing are confirmed when you book.

Q. Is insurance included?
Yes. We carry ALLIANZ TRAVEL SWITZERLAND full comprehensive insurance — all passengers are covered. We also strongly recommend that you take out your own travel insurance for the trip.
Q. What if I don't speak German or French?
No problem at all. Turi speaks fluent English, and the vehicle is equipped with professional translation devices (Vasco E1 & V4) supporting dozens of languages in real time. All pre-tour planning is done by email in English.
Q. I get motion sick on mountain roads. Is that a concern?
Swiss roads do involve mountain passes with curves. Turi drives smoothly and safely, but we recommend bringing motion sickness medication if you're prone to it. We can also plan routes that avoid the most winding sections.
Q. Can you help with other parts of my Switzerland trip?
We're happy to give advice on hotels, train routes, and things to do on your non-tour days. The official MySwitzerland app is also excellent for planning — it covers attractions, transport, weather, and events across the country.
